Educational Q&A Safeguarding Session

As part of our ongoing collaboration with the Council for British Archaeology (CBA), we’ve teamed up with Debbie Frearson, the Festival Coordinator at CBA, and Jo Kirton, the Designated Safeguarding Lead, to develop an educational Q&A safeguarding session tailored for organizers of events during the Festival of Archaeology.

This engaging video delves into the resources and support that CBA provides for safeguarding during the festival. It’s an integral part of the comprehensive training and support package offered by CBA, developed in consultation with Styles and Faal Safeguarding. Jo posed questions based on enquiries from festival organizers in the past, and our responses contribute to enhancing best practices in safeguarding.

We’re excited about the opportunity to share more of the work we’ve been doing in creating safeguarding e-learning resources which have been promoted by CBA.
